1. SPOTLIGHT: “Brytni McNeil brings anti-racism to Christian homeschooling” by Kathryn Post

This Religion News article, titled “Brytni McNeil brings anti-racism to Christian homeschooling,” highlights how a Christian mother advocates for and highlights truthful Black American history in her schooling. Brytni McNeil rewrites the history for her own children after growing up to treat race “as though it didn’t exist” in predominantly white churches. McNeil believes that “racial justice isn’t just a social cause: it’s also an eternal reality that Christians are called to embody.”

2. BIG QUESTIONS: “What’s your Motivation?” by Charles Christian

This News-Press Now article, titled “What’s your Motivation?” highlights the importance of the motivation behind our actions. Charles Christian stresses how, throughout the Bible, the emphasis is on “why we do what we do” versus “the outcome of our actions.” God cares more for the motivation in our hearts behind our actions than whether our actions result in complete success.

3. SPOTLIGHT: “Christian population rises nearly 40 percent in Nepal” by Katey Hearth

This Missionary Network News article, titled “Christian population rises nearly 40 percent in Nepal,” highlights the rapid Christian growth in Nepal. Bibles for the World, an organization that strives to spread the good news to the unreached, partners with Nepali organizations to continue to foster this growth. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, missionaries and organization leaders came out of lockdowns with an urgency, saying, “We’ve got to get the Gospel out!”
