This article from The Christian Chronicle titled “Bread and Bibles lead souls to Jesus,” shares the outreach Bridgewood Church of Christ started three years ago in their parking lot – handing out free food and Biblesto their North Texas community. As a result, the church began to witness the Gospel reach different demographics, enriching the congregation with diverse backgrounds. “It’s free,” church member Booker Williams said, “It’s like salvation. You’ve just got to come and get it.”

    2. CHURCH HISTORY: “The Ten Boom House: Trusting God’s Will” by James Emery White

This article from Church Leaders titled “The Ten Boom House: Trusting God’s Will” revisits the tremendous faith of the Corrie ten Boom in the late 1930s. After being arrested for hiding Jewish people in the height of German Nazi rule, Corrie and her family were taken to an extermination camp. Though her family members began to tragically pass away one by one in the camp, Corrie persisted in testifying about God’s love and forgiveness to those around her. James Emery White views her story as an amazing testament to the strength that God can provide once we accept His will and decide to trust in Him.

    3. EDITORIAL: “What if the Unreached Don’t Want to be Reached” by Arman Aubakirov

This article from Radical News titled “What if the Unreached Don’t Want to be Reached” acknowledges the difficult reality of many nonbelievers reserving zero interest in becoming saved. However, Arman Aubakirov encourages the Church to persist after the Great Commission – a command that God calls after all believers. “We know the stories of missionaries who haven’t seen a single convert during many years of ministry,” Aubakirov wrote, “not due to a lack of faithful zeal and efforts on their part. Yet the church is called to till all the earth, and ask the Lord to graciously give the harvest.”

Although every Hub article is selected to foster discussion about modern church structure, not every idea and opinion expressed in the linked articles may fully align with the views and mission of Koinesúnē Magazine. All the same, we seek to uplift and celebrate the different ministries working around the globe.
