This article from The Gospel Coalition titled “Does Bach’s Music Prove the Existence of God?,” takes the case for the existence of God to a musical, artistic level. Trevin Wax argues that along with the teleological, cosmological and moral arguments made for God’s existence, believers can also make a musical argument, backed up by Bach’s compositions. “Music isn’t just something physical and material,” Trevin wrote. “They’re whispers in the wind that send a chill up the spine and tell us we’re not alone. There’s something more there.”

2. RESHAPING THE CHURCH: “‘If you educate a woman, you educate a whole nation’” by Audrey Jackson

This article from The Christian Chronicle titled “‘If you educate a woman, you educate a whole nation,’” highlights the increasing need to bridge the disparity between girls and boys’ education in Ghana. To combat this issue, Augustine Tawiah and his wife, Anita Lynn, founders of the Lamplighter Community Academy, are working on their next mission to build a girls boarding school in the village of Kumasi. “I envision girls from all over, not just from the immediate area, who are just happy and really learning — actually reaching their potential,” Lynn Tawiah said.

3. EDITORIAL: “How College Students Can Make the Gospel Known This Summer” by Daniela Angulo

This article from Radical News titled “How College Students Can Make the Gospel Known This Summer,” prompts college students to take their faith to the next level this summer. Daniela Angula encourages students to use their hangout spots, part-time jobs and internships as opportunities for evangelism. Reminding them of how the Church is a living body, always active whether they are in school or not, Daniela inspires students to continually find ways to grow their faith, even during seasons of academic rest.

Although every Hub article is selected to foster discussion about modern church structure, not every idea and opinion expressed in the linked articles may fully align with the views and mission of Koinesúnē Magazine.
