This Baptist News article, titled “The stampede out of the church and the people of God and Christ outside the walls,” emphasizes the spirituality of those outside the traditional church. Shoemaker wants Christians to honor the “religiously unaffiliated whose spiritual and moral lives make the world better.” The great church exodus calls us to re-examine how church is done and how we can better live out our faith.

He emphasized the importance of friendships outside of church and diversified beliefs in community. Cox wrote, “I’m not looking for a world where all my people exist in one place or hold to the same beliefs.”

This Desiring God article, titled “Even Pastors Doubt: Counsel for Faith Crises in Ministry,” calls faith leaders in doubt to remembrance. The three main things to remember? “You are loved,” “you are not alone,” and “Satan is real.” Harvey pushes for leaders not to feel shame in their doubt, but to find strength in remembrance.

Although every Hub article is selected to foster discussion about modern church structure, not every idea and opinion expressed in the linked articles may fully align with the views and mission of Koinesúnē Magazine. All the same, we seek to uplift and celebrate the different ministries working around the globe.
