This article from Lifeway titled, “Be Bold: Share Your Faith Using the Gifts God Gave You” reminds believers that God created His church to have different, unique functions but work towards one mission. Thus, we should make our gifts shine in our respective communities and consequently, make Christ shine. Perry wrote, “If we don’t cultivate courage and obediently speak the truth, the people around us will stay lost in darkness. The world needs to know the truth that the Creator God is the only One who defines our existence and we can only experience true life in Him.”

In this article, Jesse Zink walks through different aspects of gardening — pollination, healthy soil, diverse seeds — and compares them to the functions of the Church, revealing ways a congregation can thrive and glorify Christ. “A flourishing garden is not just a model of the destination toward which we are called, but also a guide for the journey we are on,” Zink wrote.
