1. RESHAPING THE CHURCH: “Lifeway launches first-ever Bible for children with dyslexia” by Anugrah Kumar

This article from The Christian Post titled “Lifeway launches first-ever Bible for children with dyslexia” celebrates Lifeway Christian Resources’ launch of a Bible specifically designed for children with dyslexia. The Bible is designed for children ages 7 to 12 and features a specially designed typeface and layout, which aims to distinguish letter forms and improve readability. Upon celebrating the launch, Lifeway President Ben Mandrell shared, “Dyslexia shouldn’t keep kids from reading the Bible.”



2. EDITORIAL: “Forgiveness Is an Art” by Sho Baraka

This article from Christianity Today titled, “Forgiveness Is an Art” explores the portrayal of forgiveness in different entertainment forms and how culture seems to understand the virtue. Sho Baraka specifically highlights Titus Kaphar’s film, “Exhibiting Forgiveness,” to express how forgiveness requires continuous skill and cultivation. Baraka wrote, “Forgiveness is a radical act, one that goes beyond human instincts and societal norms. […] It’s easy to get trapped in the colors of revenge. Only through forgiveness can the full palette of life open up to us.”



3. RESHAPING THE CHURCH: “Rhett Walker Credits Church’s Grace during Teenage Pregnancy for His Music and Salvation” by Michael Foust

This article from Crosswalk Headlines titled “Rhett Walker Credits Church’s Grace during Teenage Pregnancy for His Music and Salvation” highlights the testimony of Grammy-nominated Christian singer Rhett Walker. The singer shared how a teenage pregnancy helped him find grace in the church and ultimately, salvation in Christ. The support Walker and his wife received from the church is the reason behind many of his songs today. While he acknowledges that not everybody has positive church experiences, he hopes that his story can show how grace changes peoples’ lives. “We’ve all had grace and mercy in our life,” Walker said, “So, let’s do our best to extend that any way we can.”
