This article from Crosswalk Headlines titled “Matthew West’s ‘Don’t Stop Praying’ Campaign Turns Yard Signs into a National Movement” shares a growing movement that started with an idea to use the tensions of the presidential election as an opportunity to promote prayer. Upon releasing his new album, Matthew West and his team decided to spread yard signs across the nation that read, “Don’t Stop Praying.” Their efforts have picked up momentum, as many believers and churches all over the U.S. order more signs. Deeply encouraged by the public response, West said, “Pray for healing in our land. Let people know where your faith is. We need to be bold in our faith, like Daniel, like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego."

Mark Vroegop acknowledges the hard reality of waiting upon the Lord and not hearing any answers. However, he encourages believers to not wait upon an answer, but upon a God who is good. “Waiting is part of what it means to be a follower of Jesus,” Vroegop wrote. “It’s part of what it means to trust that God knows what he’s doing.”

This article from The Christian Chronicle titled “Talk about sexual trauma? Why these Christians feel compelled to do so” highlights the instruction and mentorship happening in Sunset International Bible Institute’s West Texas campus– specifically, around the topic of sexual trauma. Not wanting to shy away from difficult conversations, coordinators of Adventures in Missions (AIM) program invited guest speakers from Ultimate Escape to lead the discussion. An AIM leader shared, “It’s just a blessing. [The speakers’] vulnerability allows other people to learn of God’s healing, of God’s grace and also of God’s intention for their lives.”
