Quaid shared about his journey towards Christ and how his recent gospel album, “Fallen: A Gospel Record for Sinners,” reflects his spiritual convictions. He explained, “I thought it would work to reach people that aren’t in that world and are in that world because we’re all sinners. And it’s by grace that we’re saved, and that’s free, redeemed. That’s what I want the songs to reflect. This record is really the story of my spiritual journey.”

This article from Good News Florida titled “4KIDS Opens Doors in Miami-Dade County” shares how 4KIDS, an organization devoted to healing families and children in crisis, hosted a grand opening for their newest office in Miami Gardens. During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, dignitaries from governmental, nonprofit and religious spheres attended. Ryan Noble, 4KIDS Executive Director of Miami, said, “This Grand Opening marks the beginning of 4KIDS’ commitment to making an eternal impact on the lives of kids and families in this beloved community.”


3. RESHAPING THE CHURCH: “‘The Church Is My Life’ – 71-year-old Pastor Shot in Mouth Returns to Pulpit on Easter” by Jesse T. Jackson

    This article from Church Leaders titled “‘The Church Is My Life’ – 71-year-old Pastor Shot in Mouth Returns to Pulpit on Easter” highlights the remarkable bravery of Pastor Clemmie Livingston Jr. of New Zionfield Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee. In late February, Pastor Livingston was shot in the mouth during a car theft, which left him with a completely shattered jaw. Miraculously, Pastor Livingston returned to the pulpit a month later on Easter morning. He told his congregation, “You know it’s resurrection Sunday, but it also is a testimony Sunday for me. I had to hold to the faith when I was struck by a stray bullet. Don’t know where it came from. I just saw myself going down on my knees.”
