This article from The Christian Post titled “Pennsylvania Churches Help Pay Off About $3.5M in Medical Debt” shares how St. Luke’s Episcopal Church of Lebanon and Hope Episcopal Church in Pennsylvania paid off millions in medical debt on behalf of families across the state. They partnered with RIP Medical Debt, an organization that works to eliminate medical debt and often collaborates with churches in the U.S. The two churches are thankful to be a part of a process where they can help with the impending financial burdens in their respective communities.

2. RESHAPING THE CHURCH: “Churches Serve Four in Ten Tasmanians” by Anne Lim

This article from Eternity News titled “Churches Serve Four in Ten Tasmanians” highlights how Tasmanian churches have contributed over $70 million in social impact in 2023 and that 37.5% of the Tasmanian population were served by churches and faith groups. Much of the progress is recorded by NAYBA’s Impact Audit tool. NAYBA Australia national director, Nic Mackay, said, “Tasmania’s natural beauty is world-renowned, but Tassie’s greatest asset is its people. That’s why the results of this audit are so encouraging.”

3. EDITORIAL: “Ukrainian-American Pastor Shares What Christians Need to Know After Two Years of War in His Homeland” by Maina Mwaura

    This article from Christian Headlines titled “Ukrainian-American Pastor Shares What Christians Need to Know After Two Years of War in His Homeland” shares a Ukrainian-American pastor’s experiences as a spiritual leader in his war-stricken home country. Acknowledging the persistent courage of Ukrainian Christians as they actively worship God even in the midst of war, Andrew Moroz continues to encourage not only his fellow Ukrainian citizens but people watching across the world to join in the solidarity of prayer. “Pray for peace and a definitive end to the conflict. Pray for the Kingdom of God to be evident in Ukraine, as it is in heaven,” Moroz said.
